Counting Forwards 1 to 10

Counting 1 – 5:
You will need to see the Differentiation section below for the ‘A Little Easier’ videos.
Applies to many in: WA, TAS, and schools that have Pre-F on-site. Check your planner.
Mathematics
- Identify quantities of 1, 2 and 3
without counting. - Move a counter, jumping 1, 2 or 3 spaces on a number track.
- Connect that moving right on a number track makes the number greater.
Language
- Move one/two/three spaces
- Move right one/two/three spaces
- Move left two spaces
- “As you move right the numbers become greater”
- “You can see one, two and three without counting”
Differentiation
A little easier: Forwards 1 to 5
